This method is helpful as the dog has to look up towards the treat which will automatically make it sit.
If it does not sit down then the best way is to give a gentle push on the rear which will be an indication to the dog to sit down and as soon as it obeys the command immediately offer the treat as praise and give a pat on the head as a sign of appreciation. It is not so easy to teach the dog about coming and staying but with patience and adequate time the dog can be easily taught to obey these commands. This will also help you to spend time with the dog which is very necessary to build up a bond with your pet.
