People who love dogs are of the opinion that the house of the family is not complete without having a dog in the house as pet. In a way it is a fact as dogs are the most devoted and faithful pets amongst all the animals that are kept as pets. A dog will follow its master and be at the side of the master in all types of conditions whether it is of joy or sorrow. Dogs are territorial and follow the leader of the pack which is their natural instinct so they accept the master as the leader of the pack and are always ready to do what the master desires.

This training is necessary as continuous barking of the dog can create other problems like complaint by the neighbors which will lead to the separation of the dog from the family as it will be taken away by animal controllers or by police officers.

There are many reasons which lead to the barking of the dogs as this is their only method of making their master understand their inner feelings. The master should understand the feelings of the dog and try to control the barking with the help of using friendly methods instead of beating or scolding the dog when it is barking.
Some of the owners adopt the method of taking the dogs inside the house whenever they start barking outside or in public place. This should not be done as the dog will develop the habit of barking whenever it wants to enter the house. The persistent barking of the dog can be stopped by making them understand through training about the things that are desirable and the things that are not accepted.
